Account & Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your Hiro account and the personal data associated with it at any time, using either of the methods below.

Option 1 — Delete from within the app (fastest)

1. Open the Hiro app and sign in
2. Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account
3. Type DELETE to confirm

Your deletion request takes effect immediately and your account and data are permanently erased within 30 days.

Option 2 — Request by email

If you can no longer access the app, email contact@hiroapp.in from any address with the subject "Account Deletion Request", including the phone number registered to your Hiro account. We'll verify ownership via OTP to that number and process the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your profile (name, photo, phone number)
• Saved addresses and saved Hiros
• Uploaded verification documents (Aadhaar, ID cards, PAN)
• Payment and withdrawal details (bank account, UPI)
• Chat messages and notifications
• Device identifiers and push tokens

What may be retained (and for how long)

• Completed mission/transaction records — up to 2 years, for dispute resolution and legal/tax compliance (dissociated from your deleted profile where possible)
• Fraud-prevention records — where required to protect other users and comply with law
